The castle in Dobrocin ("Pałac w Dobrocinie") was most likely built by the Waldburg family around the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Main Building:
In the central part of the originally smaller manor house, original Baroque elements from this period are still visible today. In the 1840s, the building was expanded and remodeled in the Neo-Renaissance style. The structure was complemented by side wings with Tuman constructions and an outbuilding in the Neoclassical style. The castle is two stories high, with a flat risalit on both sides of the central axis, and a large veranda on the garden side.

In the central part of the building, many details have been preserved, in addition to the original enfilade arrangement of the interior rooms, including stucco ceilings from the earlier Baroque structure, wooden coffered ceilings, antique tiles, fireplaces, tiled stoves and parts of the historic furnishings.

In 2003, the private owner carried out renovation works, including sealing the roofs, replacing roof tiles, and installing new window frames. Extensive investments are required to make the property usable and habitable, for which grants may be available.

Outbuildings:
In the castle park, a three-story dormitory building with an area of 1,400 m² was constructed in the 1950s. The solid construction allows for the integration of the building into future usage concepts. However, it holds no heritage value and could also be demolished to restore the property's historical appearance. The estate also includes a long service building from the turn of the century.

Land:
The estate, including the castle park, spans 9 hectares, with 2 hectares of pond area. It is connected to all local utility networks. An advantage of the property is the possibility to build new structures or recreational facilities in the non-protected areas, creating new service sectors.

Location:
Dobrocin (German: "Groß Bestendorf") is a former manor village located in the Warmian-Masurian region in the Ostróda County. The town is situated 8 km from the S7 (Warsaw–Gdańsk), 100 km from Gdańsk, 240 km from Warsaw, and 60 km from Olsztyn ("Allenstein").
