  2. Auxiliary building and former dining hall totaling 413 m²
  3. Former accommodation building with a total area of 596 m²

Since 1970, the property has been a registered monument, accompanied by an inventory and a usage concept allowing for 874 m² of residential and commercial space. Prospective buyers can access this documentation upon request.

Historical Overview:

The current mansion in Rożnów was constructed at the beginning of the 19th century, likely initiated by the Wielopolski or Dobrzyński families. It is speculated that its foundations were laid using remnants from a 17th-century Renaissance palace called "Palazzo in Forteca," which was already in ruins by that time.

In 1882, Count Stadnicki and Bogumiła Łubieńska acquired the property from the Dobrzyński family, who held it until 1946 when it was parcelled due to land reforms. Post-war, the building served various communal purposes before being converted into a leisure and holiday center by the "Radoskór" leather factory from Radom in the early 1960s. The current private owner purchased the property in 1997.

The manor

The manor, a plastered brick construction on a rectangular plan, showcases strict neoclassical forms with a prominent portico featuring four Doric columns and a triangular pediment. It lacks a basement but includes a usable attic. The rear is adorned with an arcade supported by eight columns, and the roof is currently clad in sheet metal.

Several rooms retain noteworthy wall paintings from the early 19th century. Two salons depict cityscapes and symbolic genre scenes, with supraportes featuring portraits of notable figures from Poland's Old Polish era. Eight views of Paris adorn the salons, while the study features personifications of the four seasons and patriotic scenes with Uhlans of Prince Józef Poniatowski, attributed to the Polish Romantic painter Michał Stachowicz, known for similar decorations in Krakow and Rząska Castle.

Adjacent to the property are unique and intriguing architectural elements: a belvedere, a wall, and a gatehouse, remnants of an earlier, albeit unfinished, 16th-century defensive structure.

Structural Condition:

All buildings require comprehensive and sensitive renovation, to be undertaken in consultation with conservation authorities.

The property boasts a historically landscaped garden and park, fully enclosed and featuring ancient oaks and linden trees. According to the local land-use plan, the area is designated for recreational/cultural purposes (ZP/UK). There is potential to acquire additional adjacent plots not included in this offer.
