Romantic Art Nouveau castle north of Prague

Hlavní město Praha, Czech Republic

  1. Castle
  2. 1 400 m² Usable area
  3. 19 000 m² Plot size
  4. 2 Floors

The romantic castle in the northeast of Prague was built in the 16th century in the Renaissance style and remodeled in the early 20th century in the Art Nouveau style. There is no heritage protection, so individual renovations and modifications do not need to be coordinated with the heritage authority.

The general condition and the structural fabric of the castle are solid. The roof is intact and the castle is usable, but modernizations are necessary. The largest investments will be required for the installation of a new heating system, as currently, there is only local heating and no central heating, as well as the renewal of the facade.

In addition to the representative rooms and two original Art Nouveau fireplaces, the castle contains 15 simply furnished guest rooms. The property is connected to the local utility network.

A highlight is the park, covering an area of 1.9 hectares, featuring architecturally interesting designs with pavilions, walls, statues, and small fountains.
