Nestled at the confluence of three valleys with a splendid view, this Cistercian abbey, founded in 1152, features magnificent remains of the 13th-century abbey church, with a 52-meter-long nave, a 17th-century abbatial palace, a Louis XIII pavilion, a clock campanile, and eight ponds.

Abbey Church
The ruin of the early 13th-century abbey church, in the shape of a Latin cross, features a 52-meter-long nave, a magnificent rose window on the south transept, a triforium, chapels, and a Romanesque-style portal.

Conventual Residence
The conventual residence, resembling an abbatial palace, dates from the mid-17th century, around 1650. The symmetrical façade contains a refectory, dormitory, library, kitchen, an archway of the vaulted cloister, and a monumental staircase, contemporary with the Ducal Square of Charleville-Mézières (1612-1628). The construction uses brick and stone, with chains, bands, and ribbed vaults in the cloister, as well as a monumental forward body. The total length is 90 meters (with 45 meters for the main building).

Ground Floor Layout
On the ground floor: a magnificent staircase hall, vaulted gallery, chapel, living room, dining room, monks' kitchen with a fireplace, and a mezzanine apartment.

First Floor Layout
On the first floor: a large hall, gallery, billiard room, six rooms decorated with wood paneling, alcoves, and low wainscoting.

Attic and Restored Residence
Attic. A restored apartment is located in the lower wing, extending from the abbatial residence.

An old farm includes barns and a house currently inhabited, which is subject to a lifetime usage right granted to a person outside the sale, born in 1968. This usage right is strictly personal and cannot be transferred or sold.
