In the mid-90s, the castle ruins were sold by the municipality to a private owner.

The manor house has its origins in the early 17th century and was extended and remodeled in the English Neo-Gothic style from about 1860. The red brick building has an L-shaped ground plan, on the short inner side there is a stately tower with a final arcaded gallery.
