Sale of a historic noble palace in the heart of Piobbico, Marche.

Interesting and important noble palace with courtyard in the historic center of Piobbico in the Marche region. The palace, owned by the Michelini Tocci family since 1700, consists of two wings. The younger wing, partly carved into the rock, dates back to the 19th century. The property extends over three floors and has beautiful old vaulted cellars, which still contain antique barrels and a wine press.

The representative part is on the second floor, which was intended for the lords of the house, while the second floor was reserved for the servants.

The panoramic garden with its three terraces on the upper floor is particularly attractive. From here, there is an impressive view of the Brancaleoni castle, an important family that has shaped the town since the Middle Ages.

There are over 20 rooms throughout the building, some of which are decorated with magnificent frescoes. The staircases made of local pink stone with ornate wrought iron railings also lend the palace its historically noble aesthetic.

The palace requires extensive restoration and then offers a wide range of possibilities for tourist use.

The history of Piobbico is inextricably linked to the Brancaleoni family, who received this area as a fiefdom in the year 1000 and ruled it for five centuries. They first built an impressive castle on Monte Nerone, which over time extended into the valley and was remodeled over the centuries, from the 12th to the 17th century, to emphasize the family's solid prestige. Today, the town's tourism is based on its history and the natural beauty of the Monte Nerone massif, which offers a dense network of hiking trails and is ideal for alpine skiing in winter.
