A particularly impressive example for an old house restoration awaits you in Vecchiano. On the second floor there is the first bedroom with double bed and next to it a studio room, which can also be used as an additional bedroom, and a bathroom with shower. The main area includes the master bedroom with wooden floor, a large bathroom with double sink and bathtub and a closet area. The master bedroom is unique with its beautiful glass and iron windows on the old openings.

 

The property covers a total of 3 hectares and has a terraced garden with fruit trees, a back garden with olive trees and a forest with a watercourse. A water well is used for irrigation of the garden. Near the house there is a 50 sqm plot that could be used as a dependence. There is a possibility to build a swimming pool.

 

Some details about the restoration works include the complete renewal of the roof with chestnut wood and original Tuscan tiles. The largest bathroom on the adjacent second floor, off the master bedroom, also features a free-standing cast-iron bathtub, a unique original piece from Germany dating to the early 1900s. The sink covers in the bathrooms are made of marble and the bathroom fixtures and kitchen sink are decorated with reused tiles of 18th century Neapolitan ceramics known as "riggiole".
