investment project in central Slovakia: Classical baroque castle with park

We are offering for sale a baroque-classicist castle from the mid-18th century located in the district of Revúca in southern central Slovakia. Originally built by the noble Szentiványi family, the castle was a center of Hungarian culture in Upper Hungary. It was visited by the renowned poet Sándor Petőfi already in the 19th century. Serving as an educator in the castle was János Darvas, a member of the Prague Parliament and landowner. His son was the famous Hungarian actor of the 20th century, Iván Szilárd Darvas.

The castle and its surrounding complex require completion of construction works, which have been underway in recent years (including a new roof). Architectural plans and visualizations are available. The building is a national cultural monument, allowing for the use of public funds for its renovation.

The castle spans two floors with an area of 1,120 m². Also included are building plots (one plot covering 9,665 m² and a park covering 27,492 m²), totaling 37,157 m². The extensive grounds offer numerous opportunities for sports and recreational activities. Due to its proximity to natural swimming pools, spas, Gothic churches, and caves, it is particularly suitable for tourism purposes.
