Teutonic Knights’ Castle in Barciany, Northern Poland

Special historic monument of European Standing: Medieval Teutonic Castle in the Masurian village of Barciany. The castle stands as an outstanding example of Teutonic Order military architecture and is one of the best-preserved Order castles, functioning as a seat of territorial authority and housing the knights who occupied it.

Through exclusive collaboration with the current private owner of the castle, we are thrilled to introduce this unique development property with substantial potential. Considerable work and investments have been made in recent years to ensure the structural integrity of the site. Presently, the castle retains its medieval character with the well-preserved four-sided brick wall, the Gothic east wing with the entrance gate, the main walls of the north wing, and the round corner tower. Subsequent modifications, like the grain storage annex in the 17th century or the 18th-century outbuildings, have not altered the castle's medieval essence.

Notably, the preserved Knight's Hall, a representative columned hall ("Convent") in the castle's east wing, stands out.
