Villa Bernasconi is a magnificent Art Nouveau villa in Cernobbio on Lake Como. It was designed in 1906 by Milanese architect Alfredo Campanini for textile manufacturer Davide Bernasconi and symbolizes the economic success of the weaving mill founded in Cernobbio in 1876.
The villa is part of the Art Nouveau European Route and is located directly opposite the famous Villa Erba. In 1989, the municipality took over the building and set up an interactive museum dedicated to Art Nouveau in Italy and to Bernasconi, the entrepreneur.
