Old Mansion Rykały, Mazovia
Pałac w Rykałach, Rykały 80, Rykały
Rykały is a former country estate between Warsaw and Radom. The mansion with ten axes dates from the second half of the 19th century and is based on an older one-story predecessor building, whose two-story side wings were included in the new construction. Striking is the asymmetrically staggered portico on the courtyard side, supported by four Ionic columns. The rear of the building features two short side risalites with a central section articulated by five columns and finished by a decorative attica.
The design of the now fragmented park is attributed to Warsaw landscape architect Walerian Kronenberg. The former estate also contains various farm buildings and the ruins of a distillery. The property is freely accessible and invites visitors to take a tour. In the manor there are communal apartments, it can not be entered. In 2022 construction and earthworks took place.
