Palace in Teresin

The castle - also called Epstein Palace - is located between Sochaczew and Warsaw in the Woidwodschaft Mazovia. It is located southwest of the village of Teresin in an extensive forest area. In 1896, banker Mieczysław Epstein commissioned the demolition of his father's old manor house and the construction of a new palace, the executing architect being Adolf Loewe.

The building, with a representative driveway, has a seven-axis facade with a weakly pronounced central risalite and a four-column portico with a final altan. To the south there are two tower buildings connected by a portico. The interior decoration is of high quality and almost completely preserved. The owner is the State Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (Kasa Rolniczego Ubezpieczenia Społecznego), which operated a training center there until 2017.

As of March 2021, the future use is still unclear, but the ensemble, including the park, is in a very well-kept condition.
