With more than 460 kilometers of coastline, long white sandy beaches and a mild climate that offers as many hours of sunshine as the Côte Azur, the Charente Maritime in western France is the vacation secret of lovers from all over Europe. Around the swimming pond and under a tall walnut tree there is plenty of space for sunbathing, relaxing or playing.
