Castles and palaces in Mazovia: Młochów
The Neoclassical palace complex in Młochów is located southwest of Warsaw and was built in the early 19th century by Jakub Kubicki for the Polish aristocrat Walenty Faustyn Sobolewski. Kubicki is best known for the neoclassical reconstruction of the Belvedere in Warsaw. Most of the palace buildings designed by him have a high recognition value with a strict classicist character.
The palace and park complex further includes an outbuilding, a carriage house and an orangery. In the early 2000s, the municipality took over the property and made it accessible to the public after its restoration. In 2017, the buildings in the park were leased to a company that plans to renovate the palace. In 2020, it is still unrenovated and not open to visitors.
