Gockowo in Pomerania: Manor with outbuildings and landscape park
Gockowo is a small village in the Pomeranian Lake District. The former estate consists of the manor house, a landscape park of almost five hectares and several farm buildings. The manor's residential building from the early 19th century is a plastered brick building on a high basement in the classicist style. After 1945, the manor was rebuilt and served as an office and administrative building for the local agricultural production cooperative (PGR). From the entrance, a staircase with final balusters leads to the hall with decorative round arches on the upper floor. At its end is the former ballroom. In this largest room of the building only the original windows are preserved; originally there was a classicist stucco ceiling here and the walls were decorated with decorative pilasters. Sporadically, the original plank floors, floor tiles, doors and wooden beam ceilings can be seen.
In the list of monuments of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage (
Narodowy Instytut Dziedzictwa) the property is listed as a protected monument.
