Buy a romantic little castle in untouched and beautiful nature in Northern Poland!

Numerous palaces and mansions are still existing in the former East Prussia and testify to the former wealth of this region steeped in history. The manor house for sale is only 35 km from Giżycko and 25 km from Kętrzyn and is located in the picturesque region of Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

Skandławki was a noble estate; the classicist mansion was built at the beginning of the 19th century according to plans by the German architect Leo von Klenze for the Siegfried family, whose residence it was until 1945. It is a one and a half-story building with a small portico and two outer floors. After the Second World War the manor was nationalized.

The castle has an 8-hectare park with paths and ponds. The private owner has already completed the most important renovation measures. The roof and chimneys were renewed, old buildings were torn down, ceilings were restored and the park was cleaned.

The entire complex is a registered monument in Poland. There are other buildings of this type in the area, some of which are used for tourism.
The current owner supports the buyer in obtaining EU funds in order to carry out further renovation measures and to restore the castle and park to their former glory.

Due to the popular Masurian holiday region, the property is ideal for tourist use, but a private retreat is also conceivable.
